Doulatog [Doula & Birth Photographer]
What does this mean exactly?
As both your doula and birth photographer, I am excited to have the ability to present with you and for you and do what I see as a graceful dance within two roles. I will empower you and your partner throughout your pregnancy with prenatal meet-ups and evidence- based education, so that you both feel informed, prepared and ready to take on your birth. I will walk you through your choices to create a birth plan that is perfect for you, and talk with you about any concerns you may have. I strive to help your partner ((if applicable)) feel involved during labor. I assist with pain relief and empowerment during birth and am educated on hypnobirthing techniques. I will empower you as your own advocate & advocate with you during labor as needed. I see myself as an additional pillar of support for you and your partner, and will provide that support in any way that you may need, while also continuing to capture your birth story through the lens. I am only 1 person in your birth space, instead of two separate, fulfilling both roles. I provide a mastered balance between two roles and as your Doulatog, I am grateful and humbled to be there for you and your family.
I do offer Doula services alone, without the photography aspect as well. You would get everything listed below without the photo sessions!
Mandy (your doulatog) is inclusive in services, providing doula support in situations other than birth as well.
Below is what would be included if you choose to choose me as both your Doula & Photographer.
Your Doulatog package would include:
A couple Prenatal visits, to discuss your birth/pregnancy support, and photography wants
& needs, along with 24/7 contact via text, call and email.Mini Maternity Session.
Photographic capturing of your Labor & Delivery
Evidence Based Education
Birth plan assistance. I will help guide you through your birth and postpartum choices, and together we will craft unique birth plan.
I will be on-call 24/7 for you, from 38 weeks until you deliver. I will come to your birth once you decide that you need the extra support, and will stay up to 2 hours post-partum.
Phone support to answer any questions that pop up
Feeding support
1 Postpartum visit, to check in, debrief over your labor and delivery and allow me to be available to assist with any fourth trimester needs.
Congratulations gift
Digital images in a fully downloadable album, with printing rights, and custom USB.
Ability to purchase any prints, canvases, etc.,
Please inquire for additional doula services, Doula support on its own or Birth Photography on its own. Services start at $1100. Payment plans available.
HSA/FSA covers doula services in NYS. I do accept these payments!
